Mass Customization Strategy thru E-design
-
After
ten years of development and application, we found that the customerŠö
requirement only can be fulfilled by the strategy of mass customization,
especially when the demands of small space, high speed and high accuracy are
getting more critical. The key point pertaining to this issue is to develop the automatic
design program (E-design) according to the pre-determined module type. Our
company has been spent considerable effort on achieving this goal. Note that a
new design according to the customer's specification should go through the
following design steps: design of linear motor to delivery enough force for
motion requirement, selection of adequate linear guide for life issue, selection
of linear encoder for motion accuracy, optimization of the structure to minimize
moving mass but with good strength, modification all the drawings
of the components, adjusting the control parameters of the driver. It takes at least one
week for 4 experienced designers to work with together. However, thru our
E-design technology, currently,
completion of a new design takes only 20
minutes by one
worker. Our customer, benefiting from this achievement,
not only can get their tailor-made product with a low
price, but within
a short time.

Quality matters
- Quality is the other main concern of
our company. Sophisticated tests and verifications including motor
force test of whole stroke, dynamic frequency
bandwidth test, laser interferometer accuracy test,
and in-position gain tuning with a dummy load of
customer's demand are
performed before delivery. All the tests are also automatically conducted in our
test lab, which is another remarkable achievement. The customers can get the
related test reports upon shipping. Hence, our product is ready-to-use and much reliable.
