(SpecGen) for
assistant of calculating specification. Then, mail us the result file and the
brief description of your application. On the next working day, you will receive the
outline drawing, quotation, and our suggestion for your request. Such a E-total
solution strategy not only lowers the price of our product,

Technology features
As compared
to other linear motor technology around the market, our motion products has the
following outstanding features:

Extremely
low cogging force with iron-core linear motor...
-
Brushless
linear servo motor employed in our motion modules is the
iron-core scheme. The reason is that iron-core linear motor has
four
times of thrust as compared to the same size of epoxy-core linear
motor. This results in smaller footprint of our motion module.
However, iron-core linear motor has the main disadvantage of the
cogging force which, if not minimized, will increase the settling time
and the speed variation during low-speed motion. Our iron-core linear motor employs a
special pole-slot combination with adequate
skew ratio so that the cogging force are minimized below 2% of rated thrust.
As a result, the effect of the cogging force will be eliminated by our
advanced linear motor drive.

Minimal
moving mass, No moving cables, Good heat dissipation with moving-magnet
linear motor...

Brushless
linear servo motor employed in our motion modules (SBM, XYD,
XYS, YZD) is the moving magnet scheme. In
addition, the encoder heads of linear scale and Hall commutation sensor
are all stationary. These achieve minimal moving mass,
no moving
cable, and compact size. Moreover,
the motor winding is stationary and has close contact to the large area
of base. This will effectively remove the heat generated by the motor
winding and eliminate the need of complicated cooling system. They
are important from the viewpoints of reduction of machine
vibration, long term reliability, and small machine footprint,
respectively.

Short
settling time with advanced linear motor drive...

The settling
time is remarkable short even under high acceleration and deceleration of our
linear motor stage. There are two reasons contributing to this feature. First,
as mentioned above, our brushless linear motor has minimal cogging force.
Second, the driver adopted for our bruchless linear servo motor utilize the
state-of-art control
algorithm to minimize the disturbance
that will be harmful to the settling time and low-speed contour tracking.

Smart
VCM for Pick and place...

Voice coil
motor adopted in our modules (SVC, YZD,
VCS) is mainly applied to vertical movement
with touch-down force control capability or 10nm-resolution positioning
system, because of
its extra low moving mass and excellent force controllability. Our driver for voice coil
motor can perform touch-down action thru just a digital I/O
together with its
positioning capability. The touch-down speed and force can be
pre-programmed thru RS232. This successfully achieves the following two
advantages. First, the touch-down action is locally controlled by the driver so
that the expensive motion controller with DA channel is no longer needed.
Second, the touch-down procedure can be accelerated because the latency due to
OS for motion mode
change is
eliminated. For 10nm-resolution positioning
system, the linear power stage is employed to replace the conventional
PWM power stage for minimize the disturbance due to current
ripple.
