XY-axis Stacked  motion stage with brushless linear motor (XYS)

   Linear motor precision stage--- The XYS module is a general purpose and low cost XY table. The integral XY design achieves lower profile and more rigid structure. The X-axis stage (up level) is directly mounted on the ball slides of Y-axis (bottom level) linear guides eliminating the Y-axis slide to lower profile. The distance between two linear guides of Y axis is increased as wide as possible to enhance roll-direction rigidity of X axis stage for payload overhang. The moving-magnet scheme and stationary feedback encoder makes the moving cables as few as possible. Two iron-core linear motors are employed to achieve high force density. Due to the stationary motor winding tightly mounted on the large area of base, the heat generated by the motor winding will be effectively removed which eliminating the need of complicated cooling system. 

    Effective stroke, user-specified mounting holes, encoder resolution, type of seal, external payload, accuracy grade, and the required motion profile all can be specified by the customer to achieve seamless integration into your machine design.
